Arjun Bijlani shares health update, says he's ‘absolutely fine’ after ‘minor’ car accident: ‘Car needs to be fixed’

Television actor Arjun Bijlani recently met with a car accident while promoting his upcoming show, Chumbak. Reports of the accident left his fans concerned. Now, the actor has taken to social media to share an update on his health. Arjun revealed that while his car needs to be repaired, he is “absolutely fine”.

On Friday, Arjun took to Instagram stories and shared a video updating fans about his health. He said, “Hey guys, I am absolutely fine, and I want to thank my friends and family who have been calling me and asking about my health. I am absolutely fine. It was a very minor accident. Of course, the car needs to be fixed, but don't worry, I have insurance.” He concluded the video by thanking his fans for their love and concern, saying, “Thank you for all the love and take care.”

According to a report in Times Now, Arjun visited the set of Indian Game Show, hosted by comedian Bharti Singh and her husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa, on Thursday. The actor had visited the game show to promote his upcoming family web series. While returning from the shoot, Arjun’s car met with an accident. As per the report, the actor is safe and did not suffer any injuries. Everyone who accompanied him in the car is also safe.

Arjun Bijlani is one of the most recognisable faces on Indian television. He first gained recognition for his role in the TV show Miley Jab Hum Tum and went on to headline several popular shows, including Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi, Naagin, Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil and Ishq Mein Marjawan. His role as Ritik in Naagin, opposite Mouni Roy, particularly boosted his popularity. Apart from acting, Arjun has established himself as a television host, anchoring shows such as Dance Deewane, Kitchen Champion and India's Got Talent.

The actor is now set to feature in the Netflix show Chumbak. Created by JD Majethia and Aatish Kapadia, the show also stars Neena Gupta, Deven Bhojani, Helly Shah and Manasi Parekh. The show follows the chaotic lives of five quirky families in the Chumbak Colony neighbourhood, where conflicts and hilarious antics are part of everyday life.

Announcing that he was joining the Netflix show, Arjun wrote, “Super excited to be a part of Chumbak Colony and to be joining the Netflix family. Shooting for this one has been such a fun and memorable experience. The world of Chumbak Colony is quirky, entertaining and filled with some truly wonderful characters. A big thank you to JD and Aatish sir for giving me this opportunity and trusting me with this journey. Can’t wait for you all to watch it.” The show is set to release on August 28.
