The Haritha Hotel in Telangana’s Jogulamba Gadwal district is set for infrastructure upgrades, with Telangana Tourism Development Corporation (TGTDC) Managing Director P. Gouthami directing officials to prepare estimates for constructing a compound wall and installing a lift.

Ms. Gautami inspected the hotel on Monday (August 31) and reviewed its accommodation rooms, restaurant, banquet halls and surrounding premises. She also enquired about room and banquet hall occupancy and reviewed the cleanliness, maintenance and services being provided to tourists.

While directing officials to prepare the estimates for the proposed infrastructure works, Ms. Gautami stressed the need to maintain high standards of cleanliness at the hotel. She also asked officials to take preventive measures to protect iron equipment and structures from corrosion caused by saline water.

She further directed officials to formulate and implement a focused action plan to increase revenue from the Haritha unit. Measures to improve occupancy of the rooms and banquet halls were also sought, with an emphasis on providing quality services to tourists while enhancing the revenue of TGTDC.
