A 26-year-old dental doctor, T. Deepthi, reportedly died after giving birth to a baby at a private hospital in Tiruvuru town of NTR district on Saturday.

Deepthi’s family members staged a protest in front of the hospital, alleging that negligence by the doctors led to her death.

The family members alleged that Deepthi gave birth to a male baby but died due to post-delivery complications, and claimed that the hospital doctors failed to provide her with proper treatment.

Police rushed to the spot and assured the family that appropriate action would be taken.
