Hyderabad court sentences two men to four days imprisonment for public nuisance

Two men were sentenced to four days of imprisonment by a Hyderabad court on Tuesday, October 6, after being found guilty of roaming suspiciously, smoking cigarettes in public places and allegedly causing inconvenience to the public.
The case was registered by Kulsumpura police against 24-year-old U. Saikiran from Durga Nagar and 26-year-old N. Naveen from Vanasthalipuram.
According to the police, an e-petty case was registered against the two men after they were allegedly found roaming suspiciously, smoking in public areas and creating a disturbance. They were subsequently produced before the IV Special Judicial Magistrate Court.
After hearing the case and establishing the charges under Section 61(b) of the City Police (CP) Act, the court sentenced both Saikiran and Naveen to four days of imprisonment.
