F-TAM celebrates Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam in Thane


The Federation of Telugu Associations of Maharashtra (F-TAM) celebrated Telugu Bhasha Dinotsavam at the F-TAM Center in Thane on Sunday, August 30, with cultural performances and a call to preserve and promote the Telugu language for future generations.
The celebrations were held under the leadership of Jaganbabu Ganji, Ashok Kante and Subhash Macha. Participants addressed the gathering in Telugu and appealed to people to promote the language alongside Marathi, Hindi and English.
Speakers also thanked the Maharashtra Government for establishing the Maharashtra State Telugu Sahitya Academy, an initiative that followed efforts and sustained follow-up by team members of the Federation of Telugu Associations of Maharashtra (F-TAM).
Participants resolved to promote the richness and sweetness of Telugu and preserve the language for future generations.

Kiranmayee, Haritha, Usha, Padmaja, Kalyani, Koteshwara Rao, Anasuya, Bala, Jakkani Gangadhar, Pushpalatha, Rampelli Narayana, Ramakrishna and Ram Mohan were among those who participated in the celebrations.
Several children also took part and presented cultural performances to mark the occasion.
