    Odisha secured investment proposals exceeding Rs 2.43 lakh crore from the UAE. The outreach program yielded twenty-four MoUs and investment intents from various sectors. These proposed projects are expected to create over 6.18 lakh jobs in Odisha. Major companies signed MoUs for LNG storage, green energy, and housing projects. The initiative concluded with an investors' meet and engagement with the Odia diaspora.

    Odisha secured investment proposals exceeding Rs 2.43 lakh crore from the UAE. The outreach program yielded twenty-four MoUs and investment intents from various sectors.

    Bhubaneswar, The Odisha government has secured investment proposals worth over Rs 2.43 lakh crore across various sectors during its three-day outreach programme in the United Arab Emirates, a statement said.



    The outreach initiative, led by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, yielded 24 Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) and investment intents, following 32 one-to-one investor meetings and round-table engagements in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, it said.

    If implemented, the proposed projects are expected to generate employment for more than 6.18 lakh people in Odisha, the government said in the statement on Friday.



    The investment proposals span sectors such as travel and tourism, logistics, finance, processed food, critical minerals and rare earths, metals and mining, aluminium and steel downstream, among others.




    The concluding day of the outreach initiative featured the Odisha Investors' Meet-UAE 2026 in Dubai, attended by around 400 business leaders and investors, the statement said.



    Among the major companies showing interest in Odisha, CAZBAA Project Ventures FZCO signed an MoU for LNG storage, while Rana Holdings Limited entered into an MoU covering green energy, AI data centres and rare earths.
