Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will participate in ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’ being organised in Varanasi to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years in public service.

A series of programmes has been planned across the country for a month to commemorate Mr. Modi’s 25 years of public life and his tenures as the Gujarat Chief Minister and Prime Minister. As part of the celebrations, a ‘Varanasi–Vadnagar Seva Yatra’ is being organised.

Mr. Naidu will participate in the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, which intends to connect Varanasi with Vadnagar—both the places are closely associated with Mr. Modi’s public life. The campaign will involve youth, elected representatives and volunteers engaged in public service.

The programme aims to encourage every village, family, youth and woman to become a participant in the development process.

Mr. Naidu is scheduled to leave Vijayawada at 7.30 a.m. on Thursday and reach Varanasi at 9.35 a.m. He will first visit Sri Kashi Vishwanath Temple before proceeding to Rudraksh International Convention Centre, where he will participate in the launch of the Seva Yatra. He will leave Varanasi at 3.10 p.m. and reach Amaravati at 5.15 p.m.
