MBBS counselling: KNRUHS’s first-phase web options from today

The Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS) on Friday has announced the first phase of web-based counselling for MBBS admissions under the Competent Authority Quota for the academic year 2026-27.
According to the notification, eligible candidates can exercise their web options from 6 a.m. on August 29 to noon on September 1 through the official counselling portal.
The counselling will cover MBBS seats under the Competent Authority Quota in government and private unaided minority and non-minority medical colleges affiliated with KNRUHS. The process will also include candidates under the EWS, Persons with Disabilities (PwD), PMC, CAP and SCCL categories.
Candidates whose certificates were uploaded during online registration, provisionally verified by the concerned departments and whose names figure in the final merit list of UG Medical Admissions published on the KNRUHS website on August 28 are eligible to exercise web options.
KNRUHS has cautioned candidates that those who fail to exercise web options during the first phase will not be permitted to exercise options in subsequent counselling phases. Similarly, candidates who are allotted a seat according to their choices but do not join the allotted college will not be eligible to participate in subsequent rounds.
KNRUHS also stated that final verification of original certificates will be conducted at the allotted medical college. Any discrepancy found during verification could lead to cancellation of the provisional allotment and further action under university regulations.
