Actor Kareena Kapoor Khan’s appearance in Mumbai on Friday sparked pregnancy rumours. After videos of her surfaced on social media, netizens speculated that Kareena was expecting her third child with her husband, actor Saif Ali Khan. However, a source close to Kareena has now confirmed that she is not pregnant.

“She is not pregnant. The rumours are false,” a source close to the actor told SCREEN.

In the viral clips, Kareena Kapoor is seen walking towards her car with members of her team following her. At one point, a member of her team holds an umbrella in front of her, blocking the paparazzi’s view. Her appearance in the videos and the attempt to shield her from photographers sparked speculation on social media about whether she was pregnant.

After the latest videos of Kareena Kapoor surfaced online, several fans flooded the comments section. “For a moment i thought its her 3rd time,” a person wrote. Another asked, “Is she pregnant?” “Looks like a baby bump yaaar,” a third comment read.

Kareena Kapoor Khan is already a mother of two sons with Saif Ali Khan — Taimur, 9, and Jeh Ali Khan, 5.

When Kareena spoke about family plans

In an earlier interview with Vogue, Kareena Kapoor spoke about her family plans. She said, “Saif has had a child every decade—in his twenties, thirties, forties and now in his fifties. I’ve told him, in your sixties, that’s not happening. I think only a man as broad-minded as Saif could be a father of four children at very different stages. He gives his time to them all. And now, with Jeh, we are trying to balance it out. We’ve made a pact that when he’s shooting for a film, I will try not to work on one at the same time [and vice versa].”

Saif Ali Khan is also the father of Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan, whom he shares with his former wife, Amrita Singh.
