‘Where to kill Barron Trump?’: After Melania Trump, Iran targets Trump's 20-year-old son in chilling video as $10 million bounty claim emerges amid US-Iran tensions

    Synopsis

Iranian state-linked media has aired a disturbing three-minute video targeting President Donald Trump’s 20-year-old son Barron Trump. The clip titled “Where to kill Barron Trump” claims to track his movements and showing his university surroundings. Reports suggest that the Iranian regime has placed a $10 million bounty on Barron Trump’s head, as the video emerges amid rising US-Iran tensions.

Iranian state-linked media has aired a disturbing three-minute video appearing to target President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron Trump, in the latest escalation of threats directed at the Trump family.

The video, titled “Where to kill Barron Trump,” reportedly claimed to track the 20-year-old and included details about his movements and his university surroundings. The footage comes as the Trump administration prepares a major new economic pressure campaign against Iran.

Disturbing video claims to track Barron Trump

According to a translation by Euronews, the video claimed that Barron Trump was “fully monitored” and showed images depicting the dormitories at New York University’s Constance Milstein & Family Global Academic Center.

The footage also claimed that it had uncovered accounts linked to Barron on platforms including Xbox, FIFA video games and Discord. It allegedly went further by identifying two of his classmates.

However, the claims made in the video have not been independently verified. Reports have also circulated claiming that Iran placed a $10 million bounty on Barron Trump, although that allegation has not been independently confirmed.

The video ended with a chilling warning: “This is just the beginning! Barron Trump, wait for us!”

The material was reportedly circulated by media outlets linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to Middle East news outlet Al Bawaba.

Barron video follows threats against Melania Trump

The latest video is not the first time Iranian-linked media has published material appearing to target members of the Trump family.

In July, IRGC-linked Tasnim News Agency reportedly released a video titled “Where to Kill Melania?” The video similarly claimed to know the location of first lady Melania Trump.

Another video targeting President Trump was also circulated by Iranian-backed media. Titled “Where to Kill Trump?!”, it allegedly claimed to show routes used by the president’s motorcade while traveling between his residences in Florida and New York.

A billboard that appeared in Tehran’s Islamic Revolution Square in July also showed an image portraying Trump as dead in a coffin. The English-language message on the billboard read: “We Kill Trump.”

Trump has faced Iran-linked assassination threats before

Threats against President Trump from Iran have existed for years.

Tensions intensified following the January 2020 US drone strike that killed Iranian Gen. Qassem Soleimani. Iranian officials and Iran-linked groups have repeatedly expressed anger over the killing.

The latest developments come during another period of intense confrontation between Washington and Tehran. Iran is also dealing with major political and economic upheaval following the reported death of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei in an Israeli strike in February.

    Trump administration increases economic pressure

The disturbing Barron Trump video comes as the Trump administration is preparing to increase economic pressure on Iran.

Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent has described the administration's latest strategy as an “economic D-Day” plan aimed at putting further pressure on Tehran.

“We are now entering the endgame. At dawn begins an economic D-Day — the single greatest financial offensive ever marshaled against an adversary,” Bessent said.

Iran's economy has already been hit by soaring inflation and the effects of a blockade. The country's currency, the rial, has also fallen sharply, reaching roughly 1.5 million rials to the US dollar, according to reports.

Iranian officials have publicly warned about the worsening economic situation.

Parliamentary speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf recently acknowledged the pressure facing the country and suggested that economic conditions could become difficult to sustain.

“No matter how much military power we have, if people are hungry and we do not have financial circulation and economic growth, we will not endure,” Ghalibaf warned.

    Trump says Iran is collapsing

As Washington increases pressure, Trump has continued to publicly criticize Tehran. The president wrote on Truth Social on Monday: “IRAN IS COMPLETELY COLLAPSING!!!”

The latest threats against Barron Trump therefore come at a particularly tense moment in US-Iran relations.

While the reported $10 million bounty on Barron Trump and the claims about his movements and classmates remain unverified, the publication of a video explicitly discussing where the president's son could be killed has added another disturbing dimension to the confrontation between the United States and Iran.
