Investigators of the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) on Wednesday (August 19, 2026) conducted searches on the premises of electricity board officials at 51 locations across Tamil Nadu.

The searches were conducted in connection with an earlier case registered in relation to the purchase of aluminium conductors, a DVAC officer said.
