After eight years of blissful courtship, actor Arjun Rampal tied the knot with his longtime partner Gabriella Demetriades in an intimate registered wedding in Goa on Friday. The couple, who share two sons named Arik and Ariv, completed the legal formalities at the Sub-Registrar’s office in Mapusa.

Their love story

Rampal and the South African model reportedly met in 2018 through mutual friends and instantly hit it off. Demetriades, born in Gqeberha, formerly known as Port Elizabeth, began her professional modelling career at the age of 16. She is also a fashion designer and entrepreneur by profession.

Soon after they began dating, he announced the news of his separation from his first wife, Mehr Jesia.

In July 2019, the couple welcomed their first child, Arik, and in July 2023, Ariv was born. In December 2025, they appeared on Rhea Chakraborty’s podcast and announced their engagement, which left the host surprised. Demetriades had also admitted, “It’s not like I went after him because he’s really hot, and I hope he didn’t go after me for the same reason.”

Rampal also has two daughters from his previous marriage, Mahika and Myra.

Speaking about them, Demetriades said: “They (Mahika and Myra) have been amazing through everything. We never had to tell them, ‘Oh, you have to respect Gabriela’. They have a relationship with me. If they like me as a friend, that is great. We were very clear that there’s no pressure on them, and we let them settle into a nice rhythm. They are fun, lovely girls, and I think I am Gen-Z, so I am in with the lingo and understanding.”

Earlier, speaking to podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia on his YouTube channel, the Dhurandhar actor had revealed why there was a delay in making things official. “It’s not me, it’s not her. What is marriage? A piece of paper after all. I think we are already married and there is no doubt in my mind about that. But, sometimes what that piece of paper can also do is change you. Because it’s like you think it’s permanent, it’s a false notion in fact but you are just legally bound,” he had shared.
