The US House of Representatives on Wednesday passed a broad package of sanctions targeting Russian officials and key pillars of its economy. The bill, experts fear, will give Trump power to impose sweeping tariffs, potentially sending more shockwaves through the economy. 261 House Reps said 'Yes' while 159 said 'No' as the bill passed the test.
Named after late Senator Lindsay Graham, as he spent more than a year working on it, the bill aims to strangle Russian President Vladimir Putin of the financial resources needed to wage the war against Ukraine.
