Ernakulam will host the 64th State School Arts Festival this academic year.

The festival is likely to be held in the first week of January. The decision was taken at a meeting of the Quality Improvement Programme (QIP) monitoring committee here on Tuesday.

The Kerala School Sports Meet will be held in Kozhikode from October 25 to 31.

The State School Science Fair will be organised at Mannarkad in Palakkad in the second half of November.

The Special School Arts Festival will be in the capital district of Thiruvananthapuram around the first week of November.

Thrissur will host the Teachers Training Institutes (TTI) and Pre-Primary Teacher Training Institutes (PPTI) arts festivals in the first half of October.
