IANSInfosys co-founder Nandan Nilekani has been named in Election Commission notices generated under the ‘no-mapping’ category, along with this family members, According to a report citing Bengaluru South City Corporation officials.
Nilekani is currently heading a government task force on examination reforms under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.

The report stated that the notices were generated because details of their names were not found in the 2002 voter list. However, it remains unclear from the available information whether the notices have been served on Nilekani or his family.
Officials have clarified that they would check the records for any discrepancies and resolve them without issuing notices where required.

The notices were issued to Nandan Nilekani and family as part of the electoral exercise to verify voter details.

Earlier in July, PM Modi announced that the government had constituted a high-powered task force on examination reforms under Nilekani’s leadership.
"HIGH-POWERED TASK FORCE on examination reforms under the leadership of Shri Nandan Nilekani constituted," the prime minister said in a video message on X.
The key announcement came a day after the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) called off its 37-day agitation following the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan over the alleged NEET (UG) question paper leak.
Nilekani: The founding chairman of UIDAI
Nandan Nilekani is the co-founder and chairman of Bengaluru-based tech giant Infosys. He was also the founding chairman of the Unique Identification Authority of India, which issues Aadhaar cards.
Nilekani, 71, also serves with the rank of Cabinet minister in the Congress-led central government from 2009 to 2014.
He was appointed co-chair of the G20 Task Force on Digital Public Infrastructure for Economic Transformation, Financial Inclusion, and Development in January 2023.
He was also received Padma Bhushan in 2006.
