There is no particular formula being adopted by the NDA partners for sharing seats in the local body elections, according to Rajamahendravaram MP D. Purandeswari.

Addressing the media in Rajamahendravaram on Sunday (September 7, 2026), Ms. Purandeswari said talks were in progress with the BJP cadres at the ground level. “Instead of adopting a formula, there will be coordination among the NDA partners on seat-sharing for the local body elections. However, our agenda is to strengthen the BJP in the State,” she said.

Ms. Purandeswari lauded the efforts of Deputy Chief Minister K. Pawan Kalyan to address the issue of pollution in the Godavari and the action being taken against Andhra Paper Limited.
