Apple iPhone — Apple CEO John Ternus displays the iPhone Duo on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, on the Apple campus in Cupertino, Calif.

Apple has gone big this September. At its launch event on Wednesday, the company unveiled its first foldable iPhone, iPhone Duo, alongside the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.

It also refreshed its wearable and audio line-up with the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5.

For Indian buyers, the biggest talking point is the price. The iPhone Duo starts at Rs 2,99,900, while the iPhone 18 Pro starts at Rs 1,19,900. At the other end, AirPods 5 start at Rs 14,900.

1. iPhone Duo: Apple's first foldable iPhone

The biggest surprise of Apple's September event was the iPhone Duo, the company's first foldable smartphone.

The iPhone Duo starts at $1,999 in the US and Rs 2,99,900 in India. Apple is offering multiple storage configurations, with the range going up to 2TB.

The iPhone 18 Pro will be available in India from September 18, with pre-orders beginning September 12.
