Mumbai: Education in Ireland, the national brand representing Ireland’s higher education sector, will host its Education in Ireland Fair 2026 in Mumbai on October 7 at The St. Regis, Lower Parel. Representatives and academics from 17 Irish universities and colleges, along with an official from the Irish Visa Office, will attend the fair.

The event will give students and parents an opportunity to interact directly with representatives of Irish institutions and seek information about undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, career pathways, research opportunities, student life and the student visa process.

Students to explore courses across multiple fields

The participating institutions will showcase programmes across areas including technology, healthcare, sustainability, business and finance, arts and humanities and emerging industries.

Faculty and academic representatives will be available to discuss academic pathways, industry trends and opportunities available to international students. The fair will also provide information on research and personal development opportunities and student life in Ireland.

Students and parents can also seek personalised guidance through one-on-one interactions with representatives from participating institutions.

Irish Visa office to provide guidance

An official from the Irish Visa Office will be present at the Mumbai fair to address queries related to the student visa process. Students and families can seek information on documentation requirements, timelines and other aspects of applying for a student visa for upcoming academic intakes.

Ahead of the fairs, Elizabeth McHenry, Regional Manager – Asia & MENA, Education in Ireland, said the event would give students and parents an opportunity to directly engage with Irish universities and colleges.

“We are pleased to bring 17 leading Irish universities and colleges to Mumbai this year, giving students and parents an opportunity to engage directly with institutions and understand the range of opportunities available to them in Ireland,” McHenry said.

She added that Mumbai has a growing number of students looking at international higher education opportunities and said the fair would allow families to explore programmes, research opportunities and industry connections available in Ireland.

Education In Ireland fair to cover five indian cities

The Mumbai event is part of a five-city Education in Ireland Fair series being held in India in October. The series will also travel to New Delhi, Pune, Chennai and Bengaluru.

The fairs are intended to provide students and families with direct access to representatives of Irish higher education institutions and information about studying and living in Ireland.
