Tamil Nadu Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay on Friday expressed grief over the death of four girls in a road accident in Namakkal district on Thursday.

According to an official release, Mr. Vijay condoled the deaths of three sisters Subitha, Nivetha and Thanushree and another girl, Abinaya, who died in a road accident in a village near Tiruchengode.

Mr. Vijay also ordered that ₹3 lakh each be provided as solatium to the families of the deceased from the Chief Minister’s Public Relief Fund.
