Benjamin Satterley, better known as AEW star PAC, has died at 40, just one day after his final wrestling match. His last social media post, a tribute to late wrestler Andy “The Butcher” Williams, has resurfaced following his death and left fans heartbroken. AEW has not revealed Satterley’s cause of death.

Benjamin Satterley, who performed as Pac in All Elite Wrestling, has died at the age of 40, the company announced Sunday night. What is even more tragic is that Benjamin Satterley had his final match at the All Out pay-per-view against AEW national champion Andrade at the NOW Arena in Chicago on Saturday night. After the tragic death of Benjamin Satterley, his final post on social media has added a new layer of tragedy to his passing.

In his last post on September 18, PAC paid tribute to another famed wrestler Andy Williams, better known to fans as The Butcher, who had recently died young. The post has now become a memorial of sorts for fans with one user commenting, "The most heartbreaking last post. May you both rest in peace. You should both be here still." (sic).

PAC shared an image that showed him clasping hands with wrestler and drummer Andy Williams. Williams died earlier this month after collapsing at a wrestling event. AEW recently mourned the death of Andy “The Butcher” Williams at the age of 48 on Sept. 9 after its former wrestler collapsed and struck his head during a match for an independent promotion in Pittsburgh.

Benjamin Satterley death: What we know

AEW announced Benjamin Satterley's death late on Sunday evening, providing few details of his passing but offering condolences to his family. "All Elite Wrestling is saddened to announce the passing of Benjamin Satterley, aka Pac," the organization noted in a post on its website. "A native of Newcastle upon Tyne, England, Satterley began his wrestling career in 2004 and went on to perform for wrestling organizations all over the world, captivating fans with innovative high-flying moves and incredible in-ring ability.

"Pac signed with All Elite Wrestling in 2019 and held multiple AEW Championships and competed in some of the most memorable matches in AEW history. Our condolences go out to Satterley's family, friends and fans."

“Benjamin Satterley defined excellence, as a beloved husband & friend to his many loved ones, + in his wrestling knowledge, skill, unprecedented athleticism, professionalism, consistency + dedication to the sport that he loved & traveled the world to pursue,” AEW president Tony Khan wrote on X. “May Ben rest in peace.”

No cause of death was given. Benjamin Satterley was known for his impressive athleticism and strength and also wrestled in WWE as Neville from 2012 to 2018. Known for his famous high-flying style, his signature move was the Black Arrow, a corkscrew senton splash, and was also called “The Man That Gravity Forgot.”

He joined AEW in 2019 after spending about a year on the independent wrestling circuit following his WWE release. He was known as “The Bastard” in AEW. Satterley was initially part of the Death Triangle faction with Rey Fenix and Penta before later joining the Death Riders. In AEW, he used a more physical wrestling style.

He often defeated opponents with his Brutalizer submission move. The British wrestler became the first AEW All-Atlantic Champion and won the AEW Trios Championship twice. During his time in WWE, he won the WWE Cruiserweight Championship twice. He also won the NXT Championship and the NXT Tag Team Championship twice.

PAC's death came as a shock to fans, especially after he wrestled on Saturday night in AEW's All Out event in Chicago. He competed in the show's opening match, losing to Andrade. There are not yet details available on PAC's passing, including his cause of death.
