CBI charges 6 IAS officers, 13 others in Haryana govt in Rs 504 Cr scam
The CBI has filed its third chargesheet on Wednesday before the Special CBI Court, Panchkula, against 19 persons, including six IAS officers of the Haryana cadre, in a case relating to the misappropriation of Government funds belonging to various departments and organisations of the Government of Haryana. The funds were maintained at IDFC First Bank and AU Small Finance Bank.
The accused have been charged with criminal conspiracy, cheating, destruction of evidence, forgery, using false documents, falsification of accounts, criminal breach of trust and abetment under the BNS, along with offences of bribery and criminal misconduct under the Prevention of Corruption Act.

Karnataka govt posts four IPS officers as Assistant Superintendent of Police
On completion of Phase-II training, four IPS officers in Karnataka have been posted as Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) in different sub-divisions.
Dr Bhanu Prakash J of the 2024 batch has been posted as ASP, Thirthahalli Sub-Division, Shivamogga District, while Ishita Gupta (2024 batch) has joined as ASP, Karkala Sub-Division, Udupi District.
Similarly, Annanya Srivastav and Ranu Gupta, both of the 2024 batch, will take charge as ASP of Hubli Rural Sub-Division, Dharwad District, and Bhatkala Sub-Division, Uttar Kannada District, respectively.
