Pakistan is reportedly evaluating significant changes to the constitutional status of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) and Gilgit-Baltistan. A proposal to grant both territories an interim, province-like status is under discussion. The administrative transition could be introduced through the proposed 28th Constitutional Amendment or separate legislation.

As part of the legal reassessment, officials in Islamabad are examining whether Article 1(2) of the Pakistani Constitution, which defines the country's territories, requires modification. He was also removed from his advisory role as deputy director of the Ethnic and Religious Affairs Committee.

The action comes amid wider changes in China's top military hierarchy. S. Balasubramanian is also a contender. He is serving as Non-Executive Chairman of the Bank from May 2011 and has 40 years of experience in the banking industry.

The Madhya Pradesh Government has issued orders reshuffling the responsibilities of four Indian Police Service (IPS) officers. Chandra Shekhar (IPS: 1995), Additional Director General of Police has been appointed Director, Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Madhya Pradesh.

Anshuman Yadav (IPS: 1998), Director, Sports and Youth Welfare, has been given additional charge as Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence, and Additional DGP, Police Headquarters, Bhopal.

Anil Kumar (IPS: 1993) has been assigned the additional charge of Special Director General of Police, AJAK, Police Headquarters, Bhopal.
