The National Testing Agency on Friday released the answer keys for the UGC National Eligibility Test (NET). — NTA announces UGC NET June 2026 results; candidates can check scores on the official website

UGC NET results: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the results of the University Grants Commission-National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) June 2026 session today. The UGC NET result has been declared for 84 subjects and is available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in, through the candidate portal.

Candidates can download their UGC NET June 2026 results by entering their application number, password and security code.

This year, NTA added two new subjects—forestry and statistics—to the UGC NET subject list. The UGC NET June 2026 examinations were conducted from June 22 to 30. A re-examination was held at the Jalandhar exam centre on July 5 after technical issues were reported during the initial test.

Candidates can follow the steps below to download their UGC NET June 2026 result:

3	You will be redirected to the result login page.
4	Enter your application number, password and the security code displayed on the screen.
5	Your UGC NET June 2026 scorecard will appear on the screen.
6	Check your qualification status and other details carefully.
7	Download and save a copy of the result for future reference.

The NTA conducts the UGC NET examination twice a year to determine candidates' eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and appointment as Assistant Professor. The examination is also used to determine eligibility for admission to PhD programmes at universities and colleges across India.
