The Thalaghattapura police rescued three people who were trapped inside a lift of an apartment complex in J.P. Nagar’s 8th Phase due to a technical malfunction.

The incident occurred on August 14 around 5 pm. One of the occupants reportedly called the Namma 112 emergency helpline seeking police assistance.

Following the alert, the Namma 112 personnel informed assistant sub-inspector Prakash L. and police constable Sanjeev Kumar M.D. of the Thalaghattapura Police Station. The Hoysala-158 patrol team immediately rushed to the apartment complex.

After assessing the situation, the police coordinated with the apartment maintenance staff and safely opened the stalled lift. All three members of the same family were brought out safely.
