Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will inaugurate the PanIIT Andhra Pradesh Summit 2026 in Vijayawada on October 3.

Organised by PanIIT Alumni India, the one-day summit, themed “Catalysing Innovation for Swarnandhra Vision 2047”, will focus on technology, innovation and investment in line with the State’s Swarnandhra Vision 2047.

The summit is expected to bring together more than 500 delegates, including about 100 startup founders, 50 CEOs, investors, venture capitalists, policymakers, academicians and technology experts from India and abroad. Discussions will focus on emerging sectors such as DeepTech, artificial intelligence and machine learning, MedTech, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, green energy, semiconductors, data centres, quantum computing, defence and aerospace.

“We aim to leverage the global IIT alumni network to support Andhra Pradesh’s development,” PanIIT Alumni India Chairman Prabhat Kumar said at a press conference. He said the organisation was keen to position Amaravati as a leading DeepTech capital of India and make the summit an annual event.

Mr. Kumar said PanIIT was also exploring the establishment of a Centre of Excellence in Amaravati, its first such centre in India. Discussions were under way with the State government on allotment of land, and an MoU could potentially be signed during the summit, he said.

PanIIT Vice-Chairman Amitabh Ranjan stressed the need for greater investment in research and development. Summit Chair Sudhakar Gande highlighted Andhra Pradesh’s potential in AI, DeepTech and semiconductors.

Summit convenor Ramanaidu Randhi called for stronger collaboration among academia, industry, government and entrepreneurs to translate research into market-ready technologies, generate employment and promote sustainable economic growth.
