The Chief Minister said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, industrial development in the country has gained a new direction, and Madhya Pradesh is also progressing rapidly in this direction.

Mr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has made significant progress in the industry and investment sectors. The State has created a conducive investment environment and won the industry’s confidence. This growing confidence is attracting many investors to Madhya Pradesh. He said the State Government is working to provide investors with better infrastructure, simplified processes and a favourable environment so that investment proposals can be implemented on the ground expeditiously.

PM MITRA Park to give fresh impetus to industrial development

Chief Minister said that several major initiatives have been proposed to accelerate industrial development in Madhya Pradesh. He said, referring particularly to the PM MITRA Park, that its foundation stone was laid on September 17, 2025, on the occasion of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s birthday. The project is a significant achievement for Madhya Pradesh and will give fresh impetus to the textile sector while creating extensive opportunities for farmers, youth and industries. The Chief Minister said the state is placing special emphasis on strengthening industrial infrastructure, improving connectivity, ensuring land availability, developing skilled human resources, and promoting investment-friendly policies. Madhya Pradesh has received major investment proposals across various sectors, and the government is working continuously to implement these proposals on the ground in a time-bound manner.

Focus on grounding GIS investment proposals

Dr. Mohan Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh is rapidly moving towards grounding nearly 30% of the investment proposals received at the Global Investors Summit (GIS). This achievement reflects growing investor confidence in the State’s policies and the government’s approach to facilitating investments. He said, “The Madhya Pradesh Government has won the confidence of investors, which is why a large number of investors are investing in the State.” The government is continuously working to simplify procedures for industries, strengthen the ease of doing business and provide investors with the necessary facilities. The Chief Minister said Madhya Pradesh is also benefiting from initiatives undertaken by the Central Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi to accelerate industrial development across the country. Projects such as national industrial corridors will play an important role in strengthening industrial infrastructure, attracting investment and creating employment opportunities in the State.

Madhya Pradesh has vast investment potential in sectors including textiles, pharmaceuticals, automobiles, energy, logistics, agro-based industries and MSMEs. The government’s objective is to ensure that investment coming into the State is not limited to capital formation, but also contributes to employment generation, skill development and expansion of economic activity at the local level. He said Madhya Pradesh is committed to further strengthening its position among the country’s leading states in investment, industrial development and employment generation. Investors’ growing confidence reflects the State’s industrial potential and the success of the government’s policies. With coordinated efforts by the Centre and the State, Madhya Pradesh will make an even greater contribution to the country’s industrial development in the years ahead.
