Kangana Ranaut calls Sonu Sood, Taapsee Pannu ‘bhooke nange log’: ‘Failed people abusing me’

By Sohail Khan 25 August 2026, 10:05 am

Kangana Ranaut, who has never held back from responding to those who criticise her, has now said, “Enough is enough.” Kangana responded to Ashutosh Rana, Taapsee Pannu, Sonu Sood, Rakhi Sawant and Baba Ramdev and called them “failures” who are latching on to her fame to get media attention. She singled out each of the aforementioned people and said that she won’t listen to any of the criticism from them, and will only take advice from those who are more successful and respected than her.

‘You haven’t achieved 1 percent of my success’

Talking to the press, Kangana said, “Enough is enough. Every other day, I see people like Ashutosh Rana, who says I bark like a dog, or the likes of Sonu Sood, who says I should learn how to speak. Then there are people like Rakhi Sawant, who make all sorts of remarks about my character, and Taapsee Pannu, who insults my parents, my upbringing, and my background. I have just one message for these people – if you haven’t achieved even one percent of the success I have in life, I am not going to listen to you.”

Calling them “failed, irrelevant” people, Kangana said, “These are all failed, completely irrelevant people who constantly hurl abuses at me just to get media attention… First, you become as successful as Kangana Ranaut. I will not tolerate these remarks from you people.” She also added, “Main yeh bhaddi tippaniyan nahi sunungi. Yeh bhookhe nange log mujhpe latch on nahi ho sakte. (I will not listen to such ugly remarks. These destitutes can’t latch on to me.) Enough is enough.”

‘I won’t listen to them’

Kangana said in very clear words that she will only take advice from people “ who are more successful and more respected than me” and said, “First you become like Kangana Ranaut.” She said that she “can help them if they want, but I am not here to listen to them.”

She then responded to Baba Ramdev’s recent remarks and said that he had “crossed every boundary of decency. The kind of comments he has made about a woman have shamed society. He wears saffron clothes, and he has brought shame to them. Given the remarks he makes about women, I think he really needs to reflect on his perspective regarding women.”

Ashutosh Rana, Sonu Sood’s comments on Kangana Ranaut

Earlier this month, Ashutosh was asked about his thoughts on Kangana’s ‘Generation gutter’ remarks and he told mediapersons, “I believe that a lion roars, an elephant trumpets, and a dog barks. Any living being is identified by its sound.” Sonu Sood was also asked about the same ‘gutter’ remark. He called her comment “inappropriate” and said, “If she has said that, then I think it is very shameful. It should not have been said.”

Kangana Ranaut-Taapsee Pannu feud

Kangana’s war of words with Taapsee sparked again recently after the latter was asked about the MP during her film promotions. She told , “My opinion on her is reflective of my upbringing and my way of talking, my way of perceiving things and hers. She stands by hers. So, I think that’s enough for everybody to look at and decide who comes from where.”

Taapsee Pannu Taapsee Pannu says she never ‘clashed’ with Kangana Ranaut.

On her Instagram stories, Kangana called Taapsee her “sasti copy” and said, “One sasti copy is out and about with her upcoming B-grade film, but as usual, the only headline point with the media is Kangana Ranaut, but today, she crossed all limits, shamelessly ridiculing my upbringing/parents. I think all parents do their best, and I never bring any parents into any argument, but today, I also want to ask her parents why they couldn’t birth someone original like my parents did? Why a cheap, sasti copy? I feel sorry for your efforts.” Kangana and Taapsee have been at loggerheads for a better part of the decade. The two have never worked together.

Baba Ramdev’s comments on Kangana, her response

Baba Ramdev, at the TV9 Satta Sammelan, had questioned Kangana when he said, “What is her qualification? Unka bachpan kaisa raha hai? Unki jawaani kaisi rahi hai? Unke pehle ke kaarname kaise rahe hain? (How was her childhood? How was her youth? What were her past accomplishments like?)” He added, “I don’t want to talk about such people. Calling any of our youngsters or Gen Z ‘gutter’ is a sign of a corrupted mind. It’s wrong. Her party members should take note of this.”

To this, Kangana responded on her social media, “Baba ji, don’t daydream about my jawani (youth) or bedroom. One can only assume based on rumours and gossip. At least mujhe kabhi Supreme Court se fatkar nahi lagi (I never got scolded by the Supreme Court) for false/fraud efficacy claims based on hard facts, not some gossip or assumptions. So don’t give me character lessons. Tumse toh bahut zyada behtar hai mera character (My character is far better than yours), no fraud detected here.”

Kangana Ranaut’s ‘gutter’ remarkk

In July, while expressing her disagreement with the CJP during the protests, Kangana had called Gen Z ‘gutter’. She said on social media, “Here is a new generation of so-called westernized Indian women. I call them Generation Gutter. Some of them have nothing to offer to the system. They are not good at studies, but they are so ugly and corrupt that they cannot be homemakers either. Yet they proudly flaunt their freedom to have drugs, drinks, or endless body counts, and they shamelessly live off their parents’ earnings while constantly fighting to live independent lives without actually being independent.”
