In a ‘Business’ page report, “‘Top 5 big family businesses hold over 60% income’” (August 16, 2026), the headline and first two paragraphs should have clarified and read: “A study of 25 wealthiest Indian family-run businesses over the financial years 2000-2020 revealed that the top five among them held over 60% of the cohort’s combined revenues”. A subsequent paragraph should have read: “The largest five firms within each NIC-3 industry controlled more than half of the revenues in around 74% of NIC-3 industries, the study found.”
