Over 10,300 Citizens Join Indian Cleanliness League’s Raabale-Kharfuti Cleanliness Campaign in Navi Mumbai

Navi Mumbai :- In a remarkable display of community spirit, more than 10,300 enthusiastic citizens, both youth and adults, came together to participate in the Indian Cleanliness League’s “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, which kicked off on September 17th nationwide. Under the umbrella of the “Indian Cleanliness League 2,” various events have been organized across the city, with guidance from Commissioner Rajesh Narvekar, to showcase NMMC’s ongoing commitment to cleanliness initiatives.

On September 17th, Navi Mumbai witnessed an extraordinary event where over 114,000 citizens, spanning eight divisions, gathered to take a collective pledge for cleanliness. This grand event not only raised awareness about cleanliness but also fostered a sense of unity and shared responsibility.

One of the highlights of this cleanliness campaign was the Raabale-Kharfuti Cleanliness Initiative along the coastline, which witnessed the active participation of more than 10,300 citizens, including a significant number of young volunteers. The campaign focused on cleaning various locations: 1,700 at Delhi Public School near the coast, 2,500 along the Talav Sagar coast, 1,900 near T.S. Chanakya, 3,000 at Shivmandir (Dolav) location, and 1,200 at Sarasole Jetty. The enthusiastic participation of both men and women made this coastal cleanliness effort truly exceptional.
