Mira-Bhayander : Today, on 19th March 2021, Tax collection was reviewed by Mira Bhayander Municipal Commissioner Mr. Dilip Dhole. At the meeting, the officers from whom the low percentage of tax was collected were strongly warned to increase the rate of tax collection as soon as possible. This is being done under the ABHAY Yojana wherein a tax defaulter will be granted a waiver of 75% on the interest amount. The Corporation has appealed to the citizens to come forward and take advantage of the scheme to avoid higher interest rate.
