Government of Bihar has started giving free Condoms to the migrant labourers after completing 14 days institutional quarantined.
“At the time of migrants’ discharge from quarantine and isolation centres, the health workers not only give them tips on family planning but also provide packets of condoms, contraceptives and pregnancy kits to them,” said a Bihar State Health Society official.
Lakhs of migrants has travelled to their home state due of Covid amid no work and hope for survival in cities.
Bihar government has announced that all block-level quarantine centres will be shut from June 15 and those returning to Bihar from Tuesday will not be quarantined.
Bihar has reported 3970 COVID-19 Cases with 1745 Recovered and 23 deaths.
