Mira Bhayander :- Residents of Mira-Bhayandar are hereby informed about an important water supply update. The city receives its water supply from two key authorities: the STEM Authority and the Maharashtra Industrial Development Corporation (MIDC).
The MIDC has announced an urgent 24-hour shutdown to carry out essential repairs on the Barvi Gravity Water Pipeline between the Katai Naka and Mukund sections. This shutdown will commence from midnight on Thursday, December 26, 2024, and will continue until midnight on Friday, December 27, 2024.
During this period, the water supply from MIDC to Mira-Bhayandar will be completely suspended. However, the STEM Authority will continue to provide water during this time.
Residents are advised that until the MIDC water supply is fully restored, the city’s water supply will be limited and provided at low pressure or with delays.
The Mira-Bhayandar Municipal Corporation urges citizens to use water judiciously and cooperate during this maintenance period.
