Mira Bhaindar :- In an effort to maintain peace, adhere to regulations, and ensure the safety of its residents during the Diwali festival, Mira Bhaindar Municipal Corporation has taken a significant step. Following directives from the Honorable High Court of Mumbai and the Explosive Substances Act of 1884, Mira Bhaindar Municipal Corporation has decided to exclusively permit the sale of fireworks in designated public grounds, and specifically, non-residential commercial shops. This decision aims to enhance the safety of the citizens.
Mira Bhaindar Municipal Corporation has designated a total of 13 grounds in the Mirabai area for the sale of fireworks. The list is as follows:
Zone 1:
- Mokali Ground near Bhoot Bungalow, Uttan Bhaindar
- Near Talathi Office, Uttam Gaav, Bhaindar
- Khajgi Ground near Taba Hospital, Bhaindar
Zone 2:
- Mahatre Ground, 90 Feet Road, Bhaindar
- Vacant space near Prabhag Office, Maheshwari Bhavan Road, Bhaindar
- Royal Garden Ground, Bhaindar
Zone 3:
- Navghar Shala Ground, Bhaindar
- Jaisal Park, Chowpaty, Bhaindar
Zone 4:
- Balasaheb Thakare Ground, Bhaindar
- Ground near Reservation No. 246, Seven Eleven School, Mira Road
Zone 5:
- Mandir Maidan, Shantinagar, Mira Road
- Ground in Shanti Nagar Sector 2, Mira Road
Zone 6:
- Rajeev Bhoir Ground, Mira Road
In compliance with the Diwali Festival Act and relevant regulations, business owners are encouraged to cooperate with the Municipal Corporation to facilitate Diwali celebrations.
During the Diwali festivities, the citizens of Mira Bhaindar are urged to follow guidelines provided by the Honorable High Court and the Police Commissioner’s Office. This includes adhering to the rules established by the Mira Bhaindar Municipal Corporation and actively participating in the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan (Clean India Campaign).
