Palghar :- In a significant step towards guiding eligible candidates through the recruitment process for PESA (Programme of Education in Scheduled Areas) teachers in the district, a dedicated PESA Chamber Hall was inaugurated at the Zilla Parishad Education Department Primary. The inauguration ceremony witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries including Pankaj Kore, Zilla Parishad member, and Devanand Shingde. Education Officer Primary, Sesha Rao Bade, graced the occasion as well.
Palghar district, known for its tribal heritage, comprises 6 talukas and holds particular importance in the field of education and occupation. The establishment of the PESA Chamber Hall is set to streamline the recruitment process and aid eligible candidates in understanding the requirements and procedures.
The year 2022-23 has brought forth opportunities with a total of 1807 vacancies in the PESA sector within the district. Among these, the government has sanctioned the filling of 1318 positions by the Zilla Parishad. To ensure transparency and fairness, the Zilla Parishad possesses a list of 2556 local tribal ST candidates from Palghar district. These candidates have demonstrated their capabilities by taking the TAIT (Teachers Aptitude and Intelligence Test) examination in 2022, and the list is organized based on merit.
Stringent measures have been taken to uphold the integrity of the recruitment process. Ineligible candidates have been excluded from the aforementioned list. The sequence of eligible candidates has been determined based on group-wise seniority, and a parallel reservation list has been prepared. The process further involves document verification, counseling for vacant positions, and the cooperation of the district verification committee.
The newly established PESA Chamber Hall will serve as the nerve center for these operations. Equipped with experienced officers and staff, this dedicated space will facilitate the smooth execution of tasks related to the recruitment process.
