He asked the organisers to ensure that the setup and management of the pandals reflect a spirit of devotion. He commended the committee for successfully conducting immersion processions in the city in a peaceful atmosphere for the past 25 years.

The MLA said, “With the coordination of all departments, all necessary arrangements at Vinayaka Sagar were proceeding briskly for immersion event in the city on the lines of Hyderabad Ganesh immersion.”

Samanchi Srinivas, Convener of Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Mahotsava Committee, stated that permissions would be granted via a single-window system to those setting up pandals if they contacted their office. He stated that a proposal to provide free electricity to the festival pandals is currently before Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and that a positive decision regarding this is expected soon. He appealed to everyone to cooperate by immersing idols on the third day (September 16).

In another event, Tirupati District SP L. Subbarayudu also advised the public to celebrate Ganesh Chaturthi peacefully while adhering to police guidelines and regulations.
