The Andhra Pradesh chapter of the Association of Surgeons of India (ASI) honoured renowned surgeon Dr. T. Narayanarao with the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ in recognition of his meritorious services, outstanding academic contributions, professional excellence and social service, to the growth and development of the Association of Surgeons of India.

The award was presented by Dr. Maruthupandian, president, Association of Surgeons of India, in the presence of the ASI office-bearers, members of the Andhra Pradesh State Executive Committee, senior members of ASI and distinguished surgeons from across the State. The felicitation was held during the ASI annual conference at Tirupati, being held from September 10 to 12.

Dr. Narayanarao has been associated with the ASI for several years and has contributed towards strengthening surgical education, training and professional development, besides clinical and organisational activities.

The ASI Andhra Pradesh chapter congratulated Dr. Narayanarao for his dedicated service and lasting contribution to surgery and to the medical profession.
