Former worker held for stealing ₹24.49 lakh from Hyderabad bakery

Mailardevpally police arrested a 28-year-old man in connection with the theft of ₹24.49 lakh from a bakery company at Kattedan, Hyderabad, and recovered the entire cash along with a mobile phone.
The accused was identified as Anil Nagorao Kamble, a former worker at Harsh Bakers Biscuit Company. Police said he was traced after examining CCTV footage, questioning witnesses and using technical evidence.
According to police, on August 31, cashier Gaddam Kurumurthy kept ₹24-25 lakh in the office locker of the company in Kattedan around 7.10 p.m., locked the office and handed over the keys to the security guard before leaving.
The following morning, employees Venkatamma and Danji Singh found the office door, almirah and locker broken open and the cash missing. The police registered a case and formed special teams to trace the person responsible. During the investigation, the police traced Kamble and recovered ₹24,49,500 and a mobile phone from his house.
