Alot (Madhya Pradesh): West Central Railway (WCR) general manager Dilip Kumar Singh and senior officials inspected Vikramgarh, Alot railway station on Wednesday, reviewing the proposed fourth railway line alignment, existing tracks, passenger amenities and ongoing works under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme.
Singh was accompanied by Kota divisional railway manager Anil Kalra, additional divisional railway manager Yogesh Mittal, senior divisional commercial manager Saurabh Jain and chief project manager Saurabh Mishra.
The team arrived in a special inspection vehicle and reviewed works across the station premises.

Issues concerning passenger amenities and residents’ demands were also raised during the inspection. The proposed overbridge at Gate No 21 figured prominently among the issues brought to the officials’ attention. Railway officials gathered information about the demands and assured that necessary action would be taken.
Two missing women traced to Delhi
Barkhedakalan police traced two missing women to Delhi on Sunday. Police had registered a case after a man named Sanjay Mehta reported on Aug 11 that his 20-year-old daughter Sheetal Mehta had allegedly been confined and hidden by an unidentified person.
During the investigation, police recovered Sheetal and Disha Vishwakarma, 20, who had been reported missing from Sitamau in Mandsaur district. A team led by inspector Patiram Daware searched under the supervision of SP Amit Kumar, ASP Vivek Kumar Lal and SDOP Pallavi Gaur.
