Indian travellers planning an Abu Dhabi holiday can save AED 285 on their UAE entry visa fee under a new offer from the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) and MakeMyTrip. The benefit is available on eligible MakeMyTrip bookings for stays of at least three nights, with travel valid until October 31, 2026.

Under the initiative, DCT Abu Dhabi has partnered with MakeMyTrip to cover the full AED 285 UAE entry visa fee for eligible Indian travellers booking an Abu Dhabi holiday through the platform.

To qualify, customers need to make an eligible hotel booking on MakeMyTrip for a stay of three nights or more in Abu Dhabi. The offer applies to travel until October 31, 2026.

The initiative reduces the upfront travel cost for Indians planning a longer stay in Abu Dhabi, with the applicable UAE entry visa fee covered as part of the eligible booking.

“We are delighted to partner with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi on this initiative. This move will give Indian travellers greater value when planning a stay of three nights or more in Abu Dhabi,” Raj Rishi Singh, COO – Corporate, Flights, GCC & Marketing, MakeMyTrip, said.

The offer comes as India remains a key tourism market for Abu Dhabi. India was the emirate’s largest international source market in 2025, with 436,124 Indian hotel guests, up 22% from the previous year, according to the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.

Abu Dhabi recorded 5.9 million hotel guests in 2025, while international guest numbers increased 10%. The emirate’s average length of stay across accommodation types stood at 2.9 nights during the year.

The three-night condition attached to the MakeMyTrip offer is therefore close to Abu Dhabi’s current average visitor stay. DCT Abu Dhabi is seeking to expand the tourism sector further under its Tourism Strategy 2030, which targets 39.3 million annual visitors by 2030.
