Natalie Harp, who is a loyal aide to Donald Trump, has commented on her unusual nickname of “human printer” in several letters addressed to the President.
In certain communications, Harp alludes to the ironic nickname that her colleagues from the Trump administration supposedly assigned to her. This nickname was earned because of her tendency to print pro-Trump news articles for the president, who is said to prefer physical copies over digital formats.
Natalie Harp steals limelight
The 35-year-old Harp, who became part of Trump's team in 2024, was relatively unknown beyond Trump's close associates. However, in the past few weeks, she has become one of the most talked-about figures in Washington. Observers in Washington have noted that Harp seems to have modeled her personal style after that of Trump's cherished daughter, Ivanka.
Last week, it came to light that during a security operation at Ankara airport, Trump was discreetly transported off Air Force One in a catering truck to shield him from would-be assassins. At the same time, Harp was moved to Trump's plane, while Marco Rubio and several other high-ranking cabinet officials, along with the entire White House press corps, remained behind as decoys.
Natalie Harp addresses ‘human printer’ nickname
In a recently disclosed letter addressed to Trump, she said: "You are all that matters to me," and "I don't want to ever let you down."
The communication further disclosed Harp's sentiments regarding the label “the human printer.” “I don't have to be 'human printer'. I could take time to enjoy good conversation, and still get all my work done at the end of the day," she said.
Concerns over Natalie Harp's security clearance
Meanwhile, concerns were raised about Harp's security clearance. MS Now reported that Harp consistently declined to participate in the standard security vetting process over the course of a year.
Following this, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt issues a statement, saying: "Natalie Harp has a security clearance like everyone else, and she is a loyal and hardworking member of President Trump's team."
