Three Puducherry residents caught in Nepal floods

Three residents of Puducherry are reportedly caught in the devastating flash floods that occurred in Nepal on Wednesday.
According to District Collector A Kulothungan, three persons from the Union Territory were part of the tourists group taken to Nepal by a travel agency based at Kumbakomam in Tamil Nadu.
Two of them, mother and daughter, are from Kariamanikkam village and the other person is a resident of Venkata Nagar in Puducherry town, he said.
The administration was coordinating with various agencies to locate the three tourists from Puducherry, he added.
