The Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju starrer Bethlehem Kudumba Unit is on a roll at the box office, witnessing a significant jump in collections on Day 2.

As per trade tracker Sacnilk, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit collected Rs 7.15 crore net in India across 1,803 shows on Saturday. This took the film’s total India net collection to Rs 12.05 crore, while its India gross collection reached Rs 14.05 crore.

On Day 2, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit recorded a strong overall occupancy of 74.75% for its Malayalam screenings. The film registered 53.92% occupancy in the morning, which climbed to 75.83% in the afternoon and 84.42% in the evening. The highest occupancy was recorded during the night shows at 84.83%.

The Malayalam film also performed strongly in overseas markets, collecting Rs 13 crore on Day 2. Its total overseas gross collection has now reached Rs 23 crore, taking the film’s worldwide gross collection to Rs 37.25 crore after two days.

The film’s strong box-office performance is hardly surprising, given. An excrept from SCREEN review of the movie read, “The biggest draw of Bethlehem Kudumba Unit, like any other Girish movie, is its relatability. From start to finish, the romantic comedy feels like a breath of fresh air. Set in familiar surroundings, pretty much everything the movie depicts has either happened in our lives or we’ve seen happen in the life of someone we know, in one way or another.”

Directed by Girish AD, Bethlehem Kudumba Unit also sars Sangeeth Prathap, Suresh Krishna, Vinay Forrt, Roshan Shanavas and Shyam Mohan.
