A simple sticky note has helped Pushpajothi Ravikumar turn a childhood ambition into a Guinness World Records achievement. The 29-year-old senior cloud engineer from the UAE has claimed the record for writing the most words on a single sticky note, fitting an astonishing 150 different words onto the tiny piece of paper.

The record-breaking attempt took place in Dubai, where Ravikumar set out to prove that an everyday object could become the canvas for an unusual display of skill.

For Ravikumar, the achievement was about much more than squeezing words into a limited space. She had been fascinated by Guinness World Records since she was young and dreamed of one day earning a place among its record holders.

Reflecting on what inspired her, she said, “Since childhood, I've watched Guinness World Records and always dreamed of being part of it. Seeing people achieve these records inspired me deeply. One day the idea just clicked, and I decided to take the leap and apply.”

Her decision eventually led to a challenge requiring precision, planning and exceptionally controlled handwriting.

How She Fit 150 Words on a Tiny Note

Writing a large number of words on a small sticky note presented an obvious challenge: adding more words was only useful if they could still be read.

Ravikumar therefore focused on using short and uncomplicated words. Most of the words she selected contained just three letters, allowing her to make maximum use of the available space without sacrificing legibility.

“I chose simple, short words – mostly three letters – to make the most of the space,” she explained.

Rather than simply filling every available gap, she had to strike a balance between word count and clarity. That made handwriting technique just as important as the number of words.

Record Achieved on Her First Attempt

Ravikumar successfully completed the challenge on her first attempt, earning the Guinness World Records title for the most words written on a sticky note.

Her interest in handwriting also played a role in the accomplishment. She enjoys experimenting with different handwriting styles, a skill that helped her manage the demanding task of writing numerous words within a confined area.

The achievement soon attracted attention beyond the record attempt. A video she shared on Instagram reportedly received nearly one million views, bringing the unusual accomplishment to the attention of her family, friends and former college community.

A Small Note With a Big Meaning

Although writing 150 words on a sticky note might appear to be a light-hearted accomplishment, Ravikumar sees the record as an important personal milestone.

For her, the experience demonstrated that seemingly ordinary abilities can become remarkable when someone has the confidence to develop and showcase them.

“This is a huge platform to showcase talent – even talent you didn't know you had. I believe every person carries something unique inside them,” she said.
