Himanshi Khurana has replied to Asim Riaz's latest remarks. She alleged ‘violence’ during their relationship and said she will no longer remain silent.

The fallout between former couple Asim Riaz and Himanshi Khurana has taken another turn. After strongly denying that he ever pressured Himanshi to change her religion, the Bigg Boss 13 star said that she wanted to give their relationship another chance and has proof of it too. Now Himanshi has hit back saying she has also has a lot of proof and will not stay silent if he continues to tarnish her image.

It all started after Himanshi spoke about her relationship on Paras Chhabra’s podcast. During the conversation, she spoke about their differences in faith and how religion eventually became one of the reasons behind their breakup.

In response, Asim took to X and wrote, “Bad relationship- Thyroid , anxiety depression , nose bleed ,Face old , Smell from hair , face acne. So why did you msg me after 3 months in march and wanted to get back to this relationship , don’t worry i have the msg ,screenshot, if needed i will post next time.”

‘I am prepared to share the facts and evidence’

In a strongly worded response on her X account, Himanshi wrote: “I have always been respectful and mindful while sharing my personal journey publicly.. whether it was my Bigg Boss experience, my spiritual journey, or matters concerning my health. I shared these aspects of my life with honesty and never used them as an excuse to disrespect or target anyone. I never said “forceful conversion” was there. People and media set that narrative.”

She went on to add, "However, when my health is mocked and my struggles are questioned, I believe it is time to draw a line. If we are going to talk about proofs, then let’s talk about everything. I am prepared to share the facts and evidence (CCTV footages, recordings.. hope you remember that early morning of 27.11.23) surrounding the conversion-related matter and yes the violence I suffered.

If you want to tarnish my image then now, I am not someone who will continue covering up to protect your so called image, or staying silent while I am repeatedly insulted and disrespected."

‘I have maintained my dignity and shown respect’

"People from different production houses and channels covered your shit but i am not like them now. I have maintained my dignity and shown respect, and I expect the same in return. If that respect is not going to be reciprocated, then I have no reason to remain silent anymore,” she added.

“If you want to play the “proof” game, then let’s play it honestly – with facts, accountability, and the complete truth," she concluded.

“P.S. I really don’t understand why people have a problem when I share my own journey, my learnings, while everyone else openly talks about their experiences. Why is it any different when I choose to share mine?” she asked.

After dating for nearly four years, Asim and Himanshi announced their breakup on December 6, 2023. Himanshi later said that their different religious beliefs played a major role in their decision to part ways. Asim, too, said that they had mutually decided to prioritise their respective faiths over their relationship.
