FATHI seeks additional round of ICET counselling

The Federation of Associations of Telangana Higher Institutions (FATHI) has urged the Telangana Council of Higher Education and Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test convenor to conduct of an additional round of counselling for MBA and MCA admissions and postpone the schedule for ‘B’ category admissions.
The federation representatives said several universities had not issued marks memos and pass certificates to students who completed their degree courses during the 2025-26 academic year. Supplementary examination results are also awaited at some universities. As a result, many eligible students could not participate in certificate verification during the first and second counselling rounds.
It also appealed to the government to postpone ‘B’ Category admissions to the last week of September.
