Cyberabad Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Sunpreet Singh inspected traffic conditions in Khajaguda and Malkamcheruvu on Monday and directed officials to modify U-turn arrangements at both locations to improve road safety and ease traffic movement.

During the inspection, the officer visited the site proposed for a new U-turn near Delhi Public School (DPS) in Khajaguda and interacted with local residents to gather feedback on traffic-related issues.

He directed officers to completely close the existing U-turn near the school and establish a new U-turn around 70 metres ahead. The move is aimed at reducing accidents and curbing wrong-way driving by motorists.

Mr. Singh subsequently inspected the High-Tension Road behind Malkamcheruvu, where he reviewed traffic congestion and road-safety concerns. Officials observed that two U-turns located close to each other were causing confusion among motorists and increasing the risk of accidents.

He directed officials to close both U-turns and implement necessary precautionary measures immediately to improve road safety and ensure smoother movement of vehicles.
