Collector asks officials to make revenue services people-friendly

District Collector M. Abhishikth Kishore has directed revenue officials to provide services in a friendly and transparent manner and ensure that public problems are resolved promptly.
At a revenue conference held at the Collectorate on Thursday, Mr. Kishore directed officials to prepare a special action plan to clear pending revenue matters. He asked them to focus on regularisation of government lands, prevention of encroachments, implementation of conveyance deeds, re-survey and 22-A de-notification.
He further directed officials to expedite the implementation of conveyance deeds under G.O.Ms. Nos. 296, 388 and 30 and submit daily progress reports. He also asked officials to focus on land regularisation in Gajuwaka and implementation of G.O. Nos. 27 and 84 relating to ULC lands.
Mr. Kishore called for prompt disposal of pending F-Line and ROR services. He asked the Collectorate to contact people by telephone to obtain feedback on the services and rectify shortcomings immediately. Revenue District Officers (RDOs), survey officials, tahsildars and other revenue personnel attended the meeting.
