Andhra Pradesh special TET for in-service teachers from October 11, results on November 15

The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department has issued a notification for conducting a special Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for in-service teachers in the State, in accordance with the directions of the Supreme Court.
As per the notification, teachers who were appointed before 2011 and are currently working as teachers are required to qualify in the TET.
The special TET is being conducted for in-service teachers working in schools under various government managements, including government and local body schools, AP Residential Educational Institutions Society (APREIS), residential schools, welfare residential schools, AP Model Schools, private aided and other government schools.
AP Special TET convenor M. Venkata Krishna Reddy issued the notification on August 24, 2026, which, along with the information bulletin and syllabus, has been made available on the official School Education Department website.
Candidates can pay the examination fee and submit their applications online from August 25 to September 24, 2026. Hall tickets will be available for download from October 5. The Special TET examinations will be conducted from October 11 to 21, 2026, in morning and afternoon sessions through the computer-based test (CBT) mode.
The initial answer key will be released on October 24, with candidates allowed to submit objections from October 25 to November 1.
The final key will be released on November 10, followed by the declaration of the final results on November 15. The department has also set up a help desk at the Director of School Education’s office to address candidates’ queries, which will function on all working days from 10 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. Candidates can contact the help desk at 8121947387, 7995649286 and 6281704160.
