On September 30, 2024, these projects were inaugurated both physically and online by Maharashtra Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, in a grand ceremony.

MBMC has also introduced the E-office system, which was implemented on August 15, 2023. This initiative was recognized by the Central Government’s NIC department, making MBMC the first municipal corporation in Maharashtra to adopt this system.
