Navi Mumbai, 28th August 2024 – In a significant move towards employee welfare, the Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation (NMMC) has announced the promotion of 86 officers and employees, along with extending the benefits of the Assured Career Progression (ACP) scheme to 212 personnel. This long-pending decision, which had been on hold for several years, has finally been addressed under the guidance of Municipal Commissioner Dr. Kailas Shinde.
The administrative department, under the supervision of Additional Commissioner Mr. Sunil Pawar and Deputy Commissioner of Administration Mr. Sharad Pawar, along with the Promotion Selection Committee, has carefully considered the promotion of 85 officers and employees across 12 categories. Additionally, 212 officers and employees across 19 categories will receive benefits under the revised ACP scheme. Orders pertaining to these decisions are expected to be issued shortly, with a special emphasis on prioritizing employees from the third and fourth grades.

- 2 Garden Superintendents
- 1 Assistant Accounts Officer/Assistant Audit Officer
- 2 Accounts Clerks
- 4 Deputy Engineers (Electrical)
- 2 Deputy Engineers (Mechanical)
In total, 86 officers and employees will receive promotions.
